All in 3 steps.

Step 1: Balance & Hearing Screening Test

This step can be performed one of two ways:
1. Without technology utilizing Comprehensive Balance Questionnaires to assist in identifying a patient’s risk for falls and hearing deficiency.
2. With technology utilizing an objective one-minute balance test using the Metitur Good Balance Evaluator will identify patients at risk for falling. A Rhomberg eye open and Rhomberg eye closed using a normative patient database of over 9,000 subjects. An air conduction test using the Bluetooth T4 automatic audiometer provides you with a baseline on the patients hearing. Further testing or hearing aids may be recommended based on the test results. Step 2: Diagnostic Testing

With the use of mobile diagnostic services, our qualified technicians perform all of the testing in your facility. We supply the equipment, technician, scheduling, testing, billing and interpretation by a board certified medical specialist. After we begin testing your referred patients, our technologist will log their time in and out for each test that they complete the evaluations in your office. These times are reported to our office each day and entered into our computer system. The fees due to you for the tests conducted during the month are calculated at the end of the month and paid to you according to the contract between Vertigon and your facility. You determine which patients need testing. Referrals for these patients will be sent to our office via FAX or through the website. That’s IT! After the patient is pre-certified for testing our staff then contacts the patient to let them know that they have been approved for testing and we schedule them for testing according to the available times and dates for testing determined by your office.
